Located in Buenos Aires, Early Grapes S.A. (EGSA) has been involved in deciduous and citrus fruit exports from Argentina´s major growing regions since 1987, specializing in table grapes, stone fruits, pears, apples and citrus while also sourcing other fresh fruits such as blueberries, mangos, melons and kiwis, as well as vegetables such as garlic and onions.
As from 1999 it has also been sourcing product out of Uruguay and same has been happening from Brazil since year 2000. As from the end of 2002 EGSA started a new line of business distributing argentine fine wines, and on 2004 it started supplying fresh produce from Peru (citrus, grapes, mangos, avocados and asparagus).
EGSA has developed close working relationships with many of the most important growers in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and Peru. It currently exports product all year round to Europe, North America as well as to the Middle and Far East.
An “EGSA season” starts with White Seedless grapes, Bing and Rainier cherries, various blueberries and garlics in November and finishes with Valencia Late oranges in October of the following year.
EGSA is the exclusive agent of fresh produce exports from Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil for the David Oppenheimer Group (Canada & USA), Ferreira da Silva (Portugal), Fruchthansa GmbH (Germany), Global Fruits Pte Ltd (Singapore) and Unifruit (Slovenia).
Through these strategic alliances, EGSA can offer to the southamerican growers a distribution network which includes the markets of USA, Canada, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, The Philippines, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Japan, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia and Montenegro, Hungary and Austria.
